What we consign: Chelsea’s accepts family clothing in excellent condition. We carry clothing from infant to adult, maternity, and plus sizes. We also accept home décor, shoes, purses jewelry and prom dresses/formals, as well as, wedding gowns and veils. We are now accepting spring/summer consignments...no more winter please!

Consignment Days: Wednesdays and Saturdays How to consign with us: Select your best items and bring them in to our shop for consignment. We do not require a contract fee to set up an account with us. While we do not require items to be brought in on hangers, we do ask that all items be neatly folded in a box or tote. Please do not bring your items in to us in a garbage bag!! The items will wrinkle and this can also pose a safety risk for us as we cannot see what is in the bag while sorting through it. We do not require appointments at this time for consignments, but ask that you only bring items in on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This allows us to get all of the consignments processed and placed on the sales floor. When you bring your items to Chelsea’s we will quickly look through them and accept what we feel will sell. Any other items will be returned to you at that time. Because our store space is limited, we can accept only the items we feel will sell. We appreciate your understanding while we strive to make our store the best we can for consignors and customers alike. We market consigned items for 90 days and will run sales during that time. Once your items sell, you receive 50% of the selling price and we retain 50% of the selling price. You may pick up any money due to you anytime during business hours and we do not have a waiting period for payouts. We also have web access via myresaleweb.com for 24 hour account access. Tips for Consignors: Here are some questions to ask yourself when choosing items to bring in: 1. Is the clothing item <2 years old? We do not sell vintage clothing. 2. Does the items have any stains? (White clothing items are notorious for staining, do check carefully). No stained items will be accepted. 3. Do the zipper/buttons work? If the item is missing buttons or the zipper does not work, we will be unable to accept it. 4. Is this item the correct season? We are now only accepting spring/summer clothing items, shoes and/or accessories. 5. Is this item wrinkled and/or smell of smoke? While we do not require items to be dry cleaned, we do request that they have a freshly laundered appearance. Wrinkled items or items that smell of smoke are not accepted. 6. Does the item have pet hair on it? Items with pet hair are not accepted. 7. Would you buy this item in its current condition? The better your item looks on our sales floor, the more money you are likely to obtain for the item. Our goal is to offer quality merchandise at affordable prices. Items we do not accept: 1. Mens dress pants/suits 2. Electronics 3. Vintage clothing 4. Out of season items 5. Toys (unless new in the package) 6. Used cosmetics 7. Printers/Copiers/Faxes/Telephones/Tv’s Etc….

Customer loyalty cards begin 2/1/08 Spend $10, earn a card punch. When your card is full, trade it in for a $10.00 gift certificate to spend towards anything in the store. Loyalty Card Gift certificates must be redeemed all at one time, and carry no outside cash value. |
